Trusted tax help, mainstream banking services, and reliable financial advice are out of reach for too many households in low-income communities. Life changes such as divorce, illness, and incurring student loan debt can push people to the financial brink. Reliable free services are needed now more than ever.
"Literacy comes in many forms and EPL offers access to an incredible variety of literacy resources including those related to financial literacy. We're pleased to bring this innovative mobile center to Evanston to offer reliable, trustworthy, financial education to our residents," said Karen Danczak Lyons, EPL Library Director.
